Vision RT provides the tools to increase the accuracy of patient setup and enhance the safety of treatment delivery. 

Providing more than just motion management, Vision RT solutions ensure that you always know where your patient is. Vision RT's non-invasive 3D surface imaging technology allows image guided radiation therapy (IGRT) to be applied with the confidence necessary for today's sophisticated treatment techniques. 

Vision RT was formed in August 2001 to develop unrivalled real-time 3D surface imaging technology. The primary focus of the Company is to deliver solutions for the radiotherapy market. 

Following three years of intense development, the AlignRT product was released in September 2004. This was achieved through close collaboration with the Royal Marsden and St Thomas' Hospitals in the UK and with Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) in Boston. In September 2004, AlignRT was registered as a class I medical device with both the FDA and MHRA. 

In June 2005, Vision RT was awarded ISO 13485:2003 quality system accredidation by the BSI. In addition, the AlignRT product was CE marked (class IIb). Vision RT received 510(k) clearance from the FDA to market AlignRT , in January 2006, and GateCT and GateRT , in October 2007, as class II medical devices in the USA. 

In July 2007, Vision RT established a direct operation in the USA. This reflects the Company's strong commitment to developing and supporting the North American market. 

AlignRT systems have been installed in leading centres around the world. These include Massachusetts General Hospital ('MGH', Boston), Memorial Sloan Kettering (New York), Washington University (St Louis), DKFZ (Heidelberg), University Hospital (Umea, Sweden), Institut Curie (Paris) and the Royal Marsden Hospital (UK).
