The UK Government’s interpretation of European legislation regarding age discrimination means that as recruiters, employers and advisors to our clients our practices have to change. The era of the CV is gradually drawing to a close to be replaced with a more comprehensive system of evidence-based assessment. This necessitates an improvement in the skill sets of all recruiters and hiring managers

Guided Solutions is working towards this by introducing competency and behavioural based interviewing.

Despite this change in interview style, it is important to maintain our standards of attention to details in relation to a candidate’s reasons for leaving previous employment and their occupational and financial requirements as well as essential house keeping details.

Wherever possible, all interviews are conducted face to face as this provides the best possible insight into a candidate's suitability.
